My Sons Went to London
In 2006, my son, his friend and his brother went to London to visit friends. They were going to stay in one of the hotels in London, but David’s friend’s relatives would not have it. They used London as a base and travelled through Scotland, Wales and Ireland. They were in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day. I was concerned they would end up in jail, but it seems the Irish view the day as a day to go to church. Too bad Americans don’t follow that lead! Anyhow, my sons were fortunate enough to use the train system and travelled extensively while they were in London.
