Jazz in Scotland
We have not made a career of attending jazz festivals as some of our friends have, but we have been fortunate to attend festivals in Newport, Rhode Island; Monterey, California; and Portland, Oregon to name a few. This year because we were in the area and were fortunate enough to find a vacancy in one of the hotels in Edinburgh Scotland we decided to attend the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival. We were able to enjoy some of the smoothest jazz in the world in free outdoor concerts. The best thing for us was returning home with a 2008 poster that we can not show off to our jazz traveled friends.
