Getting Around Venice
If anyone is going on a trip to Venice, Italy, in the near future, then you should certainly plan ahead for how you will get around the city. Venice is a city of canals, with nearly 150 of them. To get around, you can either take a gondola (though these are usually expensive) or a water taxi. Either will get you to your destination. And, you won’t look like quite as touristy with a great, new outfit. But, one of the best ways to get around Venice is to go explore and walk. Chances are that you’ll get very lost in the city, but you will eventually figure it out. It’s necessary to go to any of the hotels in Venice to see if you can get a map of the city, so that we know where stuff is located.
