Should SanDisk have given in to Samsung?
Samsung has dropped its bid for SanDisk corp, makers of the Sansa music player. Should SanDisk given in before? It’s notable for a company to stay independent. Who wants to be taken over against their will? But with the economy looming on a down ward spiral times are tough for technology and electronics makers. Sansa Reviews recently reported that Samsung decided to drop their bid for SanDisk Corp after looking at their earnings, or lack of. Now that Samsung is no longer courting SanDisk should they have taken them up on the offer? It could have gauranteed survival in these hard economic times.
