A synthesizer also uses a Korg Triton keyboard
A keyboard is anything that consists of any number of adjacent keys, which when depressed, will produce sound on a musical instrument. A piano uses a keyboard that produces the 12 notes of the western scale of music. Each set of 12 keys in sequence are called an octave. A piano produces sound either through a mechanical or electronic process. There are even computer-programmed keyboards that can play compositions automatically after being stored in their memory. A synthesizer also uses a Korg Triton keyboard similar in makeup to a piano. Keyboards throughout history have changed little. From the first century to today, the sequence has stayed the same, while the shape and size of the instruments these keyboards are laid out on have changed substantially.
