How Well Do You Know Your Golf Terms?
If you are just beginning to play golf then one of the first things you will want to do is to learn the language of the game and sit down and learn a few golf terms. Many will be fairly easy to learn, or you will know already, such as an ‘ace’ which is simply sinking you ball in one less shot than is normal for a hole. So, if it should take the average golfer 4 shots to sink his ball on a particular hole and you sink your ball in 3 shots then you have made an ‘ace’. Okay, so that’s fairly easy but do you know what a ‘blocked shot’ is? If you do then that’s great but, if you don’t, then you might need to brush up on your golf terms.
