Hiking In Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is truly one of the wonders of the world and for the hiker it offers not only some of the most spectacular views to be found anywhere but also a mix of relatively easy and extremely challenging hiking. On a recent visit with the family we spend a fairly strenuous morning while my son broke in a new pair of Timberland hiking boots which he had been given for his birthday and then spent the afternoon visiting the Hualapai ranch where the guys enjoyed an afternoon of horseback riding while the girls took a more leisurely wagon ride. The following day we had a fabulous day white water rafting before finishing off our trip with a helicopter ride which provided some incredible views of the Canyon which will remain with us all for many years to come.
