Different Types of Riding Boots
You may think it is simple to find a good pair of English riding boots, but the fact is there are so many different styles to choose from. To begin with you have to choose if you want western or English boots. Western boots are basically cowboy boots. They are for western riding and showing. The English boots are a bit more complex. There are four different types of English boots. One type is field boots, which are used more for jumping. Another type of riding boots are the dress boots which are more for show. Third, there are hunt boots, which are like dress boots, but have a cuff. Lastly, there are paddock boots, which only come above the ankle, and are mainly used for everyday use.
