My aunt left the mormon Church
My aunt became an exmormon a few years after she got married. She had two sons with my uncle and at some point she took off with another man for a couple weeks. She was apparently suffering from serious depression at the time, but after her excommunication, she never came back. She later remarried and had two more children with a non-Mormon man, and it was surprising when one of their sons later converted to the church. She may be an exmormon, but she remained positive enough about it that her son converted and even went on a mission a couple years later.
