Self Help Is An Industry
I’m pretty sure that the self help industry, and be in no doubt that it is an industry, must be one of the most successful in the world today. Even right at the moment when the whole world is in the grip of an economic recession, the demand for self help products is still very high. People either want to improve themselves in order to get a new job or simply to make it more likely that they can hang on to the job they already have. It probably is a recession proof industry when you come to think of it.
