Using a stencil for silk screen printing.
In the business of silk screen printing, this process uses a stencil in order to get the design on the object and its surface. Just like silk screen printing, mimeography uses a stencil process also. Actually the people who master the work of mimeography are called stencils in their line of work. In this process stencils can be made with many layers of colour using different techniques. But many of the stencils are designed to be used as solid colours. During the process of silk screening, the stenciled images are broken down into several colour layers. Sometimes multiple layers of stencils are used to produce a multi colored effect on the image.
