Patience and Puppies
My mother and father promised my sister and me that we would get a dog after we moved into our new house. We had to move because my mom got a new job. She said it would be better for al of us. She would be closer to home and we would have more money. Dad said we would have to be patient. He always says that. It usually means we won’t get anything. Mom said don’t worry they would find a place with puppies for sale very soon. My sister looked at me with a sad expression; we would have to keep waiting.
