Last minute hotel bookings…do not expect a view!
A lot of times when we travel, my husband waits to do last minute hotel bookings. He has this idea that waiting will cause the hotel to offer deep discounts on their rooms. Many times this is not the case. If we have been able to get them to discount the room it is usually the room that has all of the air conditioners outside of the window. One time we got the room with the hotel’s dumpsters outside and we could smell them. Nice. Anyway be careful what you wish for when it comes to getting a hotel last minute.
