Twice a Week Walks

A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to start working out with her.  We decided that we would walk a mile two times a week after work.  We work at a school and have access to the school’s track.  After a couple weeks of walking, other staff members joined us.  It was so refreshing to be outdoors getting exercise and have some company at the same time.  We even named our walking group, No Gym Workouts.  Since our first walk, we have met twice a week for thirty weeks.  Our group has expanded to five co-workers.  The best part is having lost ten pounds!
