What every person should consider who desires to manage a small business
Having worked for both a corporation and my own small business I have experience in both situations to be able to provide the pros and cons of working for someone or owning your own small business. One of the biggest under appreciated factors of working for someone is the fact that you don’t always have pressure to produce results. If you are not in a sales based position then you may not have a high degree of pressure. The downside is the fact that you are essentially taking directions from the person you work for. When you own and manage a small business you are responsible for keeping the cash coming through the door but get to enjoy the additional freedom that can present besides the added pressure.
