The Business of New Car Buying
The first time I ever had to buy a new car, I was desperate.
My old car was so beat up I was lucky to drive it to the car dealer; but I knew I had to drive out of there with a decent car.
So when the high-pressure salesman began trying to sell me cars I couldn’t afford I began a business negotiation with him.
He would tell me I needed something - I would tell him why I didn’t. After a while he got the message, and I did get my car.
Although it wasn’t brand new - it had been used a a loaner - I was late model and I was happy.
And I knew the only reason I succeeded was pure fear and panic.
