What in the world is a promo code, well it is a promotional code. What this means is that a website for a company online has a particular promotion. So they call it a promo code for short. This is typically a coupon such as a godaddy promo code to obtain a discount in this case on a domain name.
How they are used is that you used to have to click a link. However now you do not have to click a link, you simply go to the website that is providing the discount. You pick what you want to buy you go through their purchase and transaction area and at the end when you check out you enter the code itself.
Typically that is it, oh yeah, you’d also have to hit the button to recalculate. So if you are obtaining a percentage off of a particular item or your total shopping cart you will recalculate the total. A new total will appear if your promotional code works. Make sure you are picking a promo code or a coupon code that still works and is active. If it is you will get the discount.
