Picking a Car
How can I pick the best possible car for my needs? This was a question I was asking myself not to long ago. Well this is how I did it, I began by setting out a basic criteria, I wanted a reliable car which was cheap to run and insure and would get me to work and back (a distance of about 5 miles). Ok so I began by looking at reliability and was told by friends that for reliability I wanted a German or Japanese car. So that left the usual suspects; Mercedes, VW, Toyota etc. Ok so form that I then wanted cheap to run and insure, now the Toyota Prius looked like a good bet for low running cost with it being a hybrid, but the problem is you need to do some miles going fast to charge the battery which I don’t on my short journey to work and back. So that left me with the Yaris or the Blue Motion VW Polo. The Polo with the blue motion technology gave it the edge in terms of running costs, so end the end I went for the Polo.
