Hand drums have literally saved my life
It may seem odd to you, but it is true. Hand drums have quite literally saved my life. Before I discovered the power of playing rhythm and finding the heartbeat of a music piece, I was in to many practices I should not have been into, and hanging out with people of the wrong crowd. As I look back at that time, I have no doubt I would have ended up in jail, or ended up dead in some alley somewhere, the victim of some random and silly gang violence. So, I am extremely thankful for hand drums because they’ve taught me a different way of life.
